Welcome to Lore Con: Year 1 Only Happens Once

The Lore Con Team is so excited to launch the first annual Lore Con event! This September 26th and 27th the Durham Convention Center becomes something Durham has not had before: A two-day convention built for storytellers, fans, and creators.

You are early and that matters more than it sounds. Already Founding VIP and Early Bird tickets are gone. The vendor hall was sold out months ago and you all even booked out a lot of the hotel blocks. None of this happened simply because we ran a good marketing campaign. We have been building in this community for years and this is just the moment that support showed up. We have put in a lot of hard work to bring you an amazing show this year! Lore Con has incredible staff, guests, volunteers, partners and sponsors bringing you something never quite seen before.

What is Lorehous and Why Doesn’t it Have an “E”?

Everyone has a story, and the “E” is within you.

Lorehous is the parent brand behind Lore Con and the premise of this entire experience. We are building a dark fantasy world in which magic and technology collide. Lore Con is where that world meets you for the very first time.

What is This Blog For?

This blog is for writing our story as we go along. Every moment and every chapter matters. On this blog we will drop:

• Guest reveals, including some not announced yet
• Programming and panel details as the schedule locks (bear with us some, it’s like putting together a 100-piece puzzle and may change)
• In-progress stories from the Lorehous and Lore Con universe
• Merch and limited edition Lorehous & Lore Con items
• Sponsor and community partner news

The first year only happens once and we are excited to bring you a new experience. With your support, we intend to bring Lore Con to you year after year. However, there will only be one group of people who can say they were there when it started:
