Blerd Without Fear joins Lore Con 2026 as our Comic Lorekeeper

Blerd Without Fear is coming to Lore Con 2026.

Ernie Carothers aka The Blerd Without Fear has spent years doing something rare on YouTube: deeply studying the lore of comic books and pop culture and breaking down stories in a way that anyone can understand. Blerd, the pormanteau and community term for Black nerd is true to the cultural lens that he views comics in. Blerd Without Fear is the type to know issue numbers, deep cuts, character histories, and has the opions to give you relevant and entertaining commentary on whatever media he is discussing. He’s the friend you call when you need to know what really happened in a 90s crossover.

Lore Con’s name isn’t an accident. We’re a convention about lore. A convention about creating moments together and the lore of the media and fandoms that we all love. We center people at Lore Con who hold these stories dear to their heart. Blerd Without Fear is one of those people.
